BABYMETALを知る〜もう一度BABYMETALを振り返るPART19（THE ONE）〜

現在世界で活躍中のBABYMETALですが、

「THE ONE」は2ndアルバム「METAL RESISTANCE」に収録されていて、2016年にリリースされました。BABYMETALの2ndシングルです。

2019年10月23日現在YouTube公式チャンネル　BABYMETALofficialでの再生回数は、

約12,170,000回です。

内容

この曲「THE ONE」は、アメリカのBillboard.comでプレミアム公開され、アメリカのファンをはじめとする多くの音楽ファンがいち早く反応を示しており、BABYMETALへの注目度の高さが改めて伺えました。

MVは2015年横浜アリーナで開催された「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2015 in JAPAN-THE FINAL CHAPTER OF TRILOGY-」のツアーファイナル公演で撮影されたものです。

「BABYMETALの音楽で世界を一つに」という思いが込められた曲で、ライブの終盤で披露されることが多く、その名の通り会場が一体となる神秘的な雰囲気をかもし出します。

この曲は海外版では、全編英語詞に初挑戦したバージョンが、ウェブ会員限定版ではピアノやストリングスをフィーチャーしたUnfinishedバージョンが収録されています。

SU-METALの歌唱力が素晴らしく光る曲になっていて、歌に合わせた演出なども幻想的で優美なものになっています。東京ドーム公演の際は、会場にいた５万５千人の首に巻かれたコルセットが白く光る演出は雑誌やニュースなどで多く取り上げられました。

 BABYMETALの曲の中では珍しくゆっくりなメロディであり、まさに一体感があります。

「LEGEND - S - 洗礼の儀」で披露された「THE ONE〜Unfinished ver〜」では、今までのBABYMETALの集大成を見せられたような実に素晴らしいものでした。
